Terps knock off Charleston Southern, 89-51
The Maryland Terrapins opened up the 2009-2010 college basketball season with a resounding, 89-51 victory over Charleston Southern.
Maryland started out fast and really never looked back despite a poor shooting night from Greivis Vasquez.
Landon Milbourne lead all scorers with 16 points while Sean Mosley chipped in with 15. Both provided some dazzling displays of their athleticism.
Freshman Jordan Williams got the start and was a big factor in the team’s flex offense. He showed great touch around the basket.
The Terps have two games this week before gearing up for the Maui Invitational around Thanksgiving.
