Maryland Terrapins starting quarterback Chris Turner has heard plenty of criticisms over his career.
However, none gets under his skin more than the negative press he has received about his unwillingness to leave the pocket.
Turner said he plans on being more aggressive as a runner this year when things break down.
Fans believe that Turner would be a much more effective quarterback if he was willing to run, giving the defense one more thing to worry about.

The Maryland Terrapins are already looking toward their showdown with the California Golden Bears.
Maryland hosted the Bears last year in a game with a noon kickoff time that really benefitted the Terps.
Now it’s time for California to get a little revenge, and the late start time on the West Coast is certainly in response to the time of kickoff last year.
I’m sure Ralph Friedgen will try and bring the team out as early as possible for the game, hoping the players will adjust to the time change.

The Maryland Terrapins made a run at forward Matt Pilgrim but came up just a bit short in the end.
Pilgrim chose Oklahoma State over Maryland while also considering Cincinnati and Memphis.
The forward is transferring from Kentucky, where head coach John Calipari informed him they were out of scholarships.
It’s a tough situation for Pilgrim to be forced out of the program, but he has landed on his feet with the Cowboys.

The Maryland Terrapins have lost out on Lance Stephenson, who has committed to play for the Cincinnati Bearcats.
The have been rumors circling that the Terps actually stopped pursuing Stephenson weeks ago, but it has never been confirmed.
The Terps just seem happy to have gotten guard Greivis Vasquez back for his senior season.
However, Stephenson could have taken the Terps to another level and made them a legitimate Final Four threat.
